As a Senior Graphic Designer at Pete for America, the presidential campaign for Democratic candidate Pete Buttigieg, I led the design of all paid media, creating thousands of unique pieces of creative, leading to millions of dollars raised for the campaign and an incredible overall boast to Pete’s notoriety.
ANYTHING FOR "FREE" STUFF
A common trend in political paid media is offering exclusive promotional items in exchange for signing up or a donation to the campaign. This was a successful and frequently used strategy, commonly offering items such as stickers and posters.

A CHANCE TO MEET PETE
Another common trend in political paid media is offering contests, often the prize being time with the candidate. From Pizza with Pete and Burgers with Buttigieg to trips to the one of many democratic debates, this was also a very successful and frequently used strategy.
PROMOTING PETE'S POLICIES
We frequently used paid media to promote Pete’s tremendous amounts of policy topics, with the goal of teaching people more about Pete and his stance on various issues.
PROMOTING CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISING
Our paid media programs were obvious used to increase fundraising for the campaign, most importantly, it was used upon deadlines to help reach our goals.
